"Simple is best" Pink dress

Have I told you about my luck with fabric sales?
Well, I have haven't I?! (in this post)
I made this one last summer and I wear it a lot.

Fiz este vestido no verão passado e tenho-o usado imenso!

This dress began as a strong craving for a pink dress. Last summer that color was everywhere and I liked it. Also there were all those minimal straight silhouettes! Next thing I know, there it is, on the sales rack, the perfect fabric for a dress in the trend!

It is just like soft denim.

And then all I needed was to choose a pattern. I used this one from Burda Style Magazine. Is minimal and straight but shows a little your curves! And I love the neckline and the pockets! I didn't change anything, it was just what I wanted.

Este vestido começou por um forte desejo de ter um vestido rosa-choque! O verão passado esta cor estava por todo o lado e eu gostei. Também se viam muito as silhuetas minimalistas e de linhas rectas! Pouco depois, lá estava, na caixa dos retalhos, o tecido perfeito para um vestido assim!

É tipo ganga.

Agora só precisava de me decidir por um modelo. Usei este da Revista Burda Style. É minimalista e em linhas rectas mas ainda assim mostra um pouco as curvas! E adoro o decote e os bolsos! Não modifiquei nada, este modelo era exactamente o que queria.

O vestido vermelho em que tenho estado a trabalhar está terminado! Vou postá-lo nos próximos dias, tenho estado só à espera que o sol resolvesse espreitar por estes lados para poder tirar fotos decentes! ;)
