This was my last project before starting college again.
It turned out just like I imagined, it looks great and is very comfortable.
I was in love with this pattern I showed you before, from Burda Style. But I din't want it all white. I found this silky fabric that is semi grey semi rosy and works perfectly with white.
The white fabric was from a dress I made 2 years ago but ended up not liking it (see the bottom). It was a nice pattern but an awful choice of fabric for it. It is an elastic and thick fabric. However, it works wonders for this skirt! So I am very please I finally got to remake something out of this nice fabric.
For the linning I used jersey from white old t-shirts!

Apaixonei-me pelo modelo que vos mostrei antes, da revista Burda. Mas não a queria toda em branco. Encontrei um tecido acetinado meio cinza meio rosa que se conjuga perfeitamente com o branco.
O tecido branco foi reutilizado da saia de um vestido que fiz há 2 anos e que acabei por não gostar (vejam o final do post). Era um bom modelo mas escolhi mal o tecido com que o fiz. É elástico e muito grosso para o efeito pretendido. Mas é perfeito para esta saia. Estou muito contente por finalmente ter aproveitado este tecido tão bom.
Para o forro utilizei malha jersey de t-shirts brancas!

that skirt looks great all dressed up! at least u were able to reuse something and not let it go to waste. I've now seen a few of this skirt and it might have to be the first pencil skirt i make myself! Hope college is treating you well!
